I just had a baby. How can I keep my nose from being stuffed without using a humidifier?

The room feels stuffy. I don’t want to use a humidifier because the instructions say not to use in a closed room with children sleeping. Also, there is the inconvenience of maintaining it. Would a certain fan or air conditioner help? I heard ionic breezes are not recommended.
