How do I humidify my dorm room without actually buying a humidifier?

I’m a poor college student and can’t afford a humidifier, but I’m tired of waking up with dry sinuses, a really sore throat, and sometimes a bloody nose.

Alternative ways to get some moisture in the air?

  4. I always sleep with the window open, never have the feeling that the air is too dry then.

And don’t sleep with an air conditioner running, but I suppose that you’re not doing that.
