We have been told that a humidifier is good if you live in dry climate (we do) but that also a fan would be helpful to keep fresh air circulating. That seems like a lot of appliances on at once in a smaller room. Do we really need both? We live in a condo building so our nursery does not have a window as it is towards our front door which is in an indoor hallway, so a fan is probably a good idea, the humidifier I am not so sure of. What do you think?

Being that cold outside, my skin is excessively dry and a humidifier is a must. At the same time, I am allergist to dust - and being enclosed due to the cold weather, an air purifier is also a must. I am sure my electric company loves me…

My bungalow has 2 floors, bedrooms and main living area are on top floor and basement, storage and den are on bottom floor. I was wondering on which floor I should place my whole house console humidifier? It is supposed to humidify up to 2300 square feet which is about the size of my house. My house is heated in each room by baseboard heaters so it gets pretty dry in winter when full heat is on, and no humidifier.
