I have a tricolor stromanthe and the leaves drying I believe due to low humidity. I have tried spraying it throughout the day…not working. I have also had a pebble tray beneath it…not working either. I cant really afford a humidifier right now. Are there any other alternatives?

So I will be getting 3 hermit crabs soon for my 10 gallon tank. I have a hut, small plastic plant, deep sand, 2 water dishes , a homemade humidifier, and a food dish, and a net for them to climb on. I also have a hygrometer (sp?). I was wondering if I could use table salt or sea salt for the salt water, or if I had to buy the expensive kind. I heard it was good and then I heard it was bad.
okay thanks, Ill just use water that was sitting out with the chlorine evaporated =]

I was going to get a spray bottle too
Should I put the sponge in the freshwater, saltwater, or both?
