So I will be getting 3 hermit crabs soon for my 10 gallon tank. I have a hut, small plastic plant, deep sand, 2 water dishes , a homemade humidifier, and a food dish, and a net for them to climb on. I also have a hygrometer (sp?). I was wondering if I could use table salt or sea salt for the salt water, or if I had to buy the expensive kind. Also I have AquaSafe water conditioner (http://www.petco.com/product/105872/TetraAqua-AquaSafe-Water-Conditioner.aspx?CoreCat=OnSiteSearch) and it has stress coat. Can I use it for their water? I heard it was good and then I heard it was bad.
okay thanks, Ill just use water that was sitting out with the chlorine evaporated =]

I was going to get a spray bottle too
Should I put the sponge in the freshwater, saltwater, or both?

I would like to set up a circulating water system for my iguana’s cage. I was looking into purchasing an air pump + air stone. Is this the type of set up I would want to do, or should I look into a water pump? I understand air pumps circulate air, and water pump circulates water, but in terms of when to use each one, I do not know.

Also, if anyone knows about humidifiers and/or foggers for reptile cages, that’d be great.

other info:
my 1+ year old iguana is currently in a custom cage made from a 55-gallon drum. I’m having trouble keeping his humidity up.
