would putting say a cap full of bleach in your humidifier wile is running to sanitize the air be a good idea?

I have a cool mist humidifier which holds about a gallon of water and i was just curious to know if its a good idea to put about a cap full of bleach mixd in with the water to sanitize the air in the room.ive actually already done this and it definately makes the room smell fresher with no bleach smell and no irritation.So wat you all think?
