We have had a couple of cold fronts blow in this week and my son’s voice has been a little hoarse, he has had a slightly stuffy nose, breathing heavier at night and has been generally cranky. He is 7 months old. I am not sure if it is allergens in the air or that the air is drier than normal. I don’t think the symptoms are severe enough to be a cold. Should I use a humidifier or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!

My 2 month old sometimes has difficulty sleeping because of phlegm or stuffy nose. How does the humidifier work? Is it really useful?
His nose is allergic to cold temperature.

My house is so dry (and I live in Florida… can’t figure it out). Everyday I have a stuffy nose and sometimes nose bleeds, and also very dry skin. I’ve dealt with it until now. Now I have a 3 week old and he is stuffed up constantly and seems to have a hard time breathing sometimes b/c of it. It makes me very nervous. I bought a cool mist humidifier for the bedroom, but I haven’t noticed any difference for either myself or him. Should I have bought a warm mist or does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks.
